You will be a part of a memorable trip where you will complete the classic golden triangle tour in India in the first phase of the trip. Then you will explore Kathmandu-city of temples, Pokhara-city of lake paradise and Chitwan in Nepal. And finally, you will visit Tibet “the roof of the world” with sightseeing of amazing destinations like Potala palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera & Drepung Monastery, Barkor street with Overland journey from Nepal via witnessing Mt. Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & explore the markets
30 min private drive

Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, you will be welcomed by the representative from Himalayan Trekkers and transferred to the hotel.

After taking some rest, you will explore the ancient markets of Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Full-day Delhi sightseeing
1 Hour

Today you will visit the famous and historical places in Delhi. You will explore the magnificent Royal Red Fort also called ‘Lal Killa’. It is an attractive Fort made by the magnificent marvels with red stone. After that, you will move towards Jami Masjid, this is taken as one of the biggest mosques in India. It was made by the famous king who made the Taj Mahal: Shah Jahan.

Furthermore, you will explore Rajghat, which is one of the central places made in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. After visiting the monuments and arts and architecture of Old Delhi, you will go for the sightseeing of the presidential Palace which is also called ‘Rashtrapati Bhawan’, ‘India Gate’. ‘India Gate’ is an unforgettable tribute constructed in the admiration and respect of the Indian military.

Day 3: Drive to Jaipur & explore Jaipur “Pink city”
5 hrs drive

With a good breakfast, you will have a scenic drive to Jaipur (pink city).

After you arrive at Jaipur you take some rest and at the time of the evening, you can explore the Jaipur Markets, Jantar Mantar and City Palace Museum.

Day 4: Morning sightseeing & drive to Agra
4-5 hrs drive

After breakfast, you will visit the popular ‘Hawa Mahal’ or ‘Window Palace’ and then will be driven to Agra city. On the way, we will make a brief stop at Fatepur Sikri, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The surrounding also includes the Jame Mosque, the tomb of Salim Christi, the Panch Mahal and others.

Upon arrival at Agra check-in at the hotel.

Free to explore the local market in the evening.

Day 5: Full-day Agra sightseeing

After breakfast, you will visit the legendary Taj Mahal, the symbol of love and peace, built by Mogul emperor Sarjahan in the Memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz.

You will also explore the Agra fort located on the bank of river Yamuna which is a land-mark form the Mogul period. The Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, known as the draft of the Taj Mahal is also a must-visit today.

Day 6: Fly to Varanasi & explore

With breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic flight to Varanasi from Agra. Reaching Varanasi-‘the holy city of India’, you will spend some time exploring the temple area and market in the evening. You can witness lots of interesting activities there.

Day 7: Morning tour in Varanasi, fly to Nepal & sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today you will enjoy early morning boating in the holy river Ganga where you can observe various kinds of activities performed by the priests and pilgrims in that area. It is a very popular destination for cremation where you can witness lots of ‘Ghats’. After returning back to the hotel, you will enjoy your breakfast and drive to the airport for the Nepal tour.

After landing in the nation of Mt. Everest, a representative from Himalayan Trekkers will greet, welcome and take you for sightseeing. You will visit the Pashupatinath temple area and Bouddhanath stupa. Then you will be transferred to the hotel for a night halt.

Day 8: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu

After a delicious breakfast, you will be taken for guided sightseeing where you will visit popular landmarks of Kathmandu valley. You will visit Bhaktapur durbar square, Patan durbar square, Swyombhunath stupa, Kathmandu durbar square with local markets.

Day 9: Fly/drive to Pokhara & explore
25 mins flight/6-7 hrs drive

After early breakfast, you will be moving towards Pokhara. You can enjoy a scenic flight or drive to reach this amazingly beautiful destination.

After reaching Pokhara, it’s on you how you desire to spend the day. You can enjoy boating, take part in adventure sports or take a good rest in the hotel. In the evening, visit lakeside.

Day 10: Morning hike to Sarangkot & full-day Pokhara Tour
3-4 hrs trek

Early morning, you will be taken for sunrise view with mountains from Sarangkot. You will spend around 2 hours there and return back to the hotel for breakfast. After that, you will be taken to World peace pagoda, Tibetan refugee camp, Davis fall, Guptshower cave, Mountain museum for sightseeing.

If you haven’t done boating in the earlier evening, you will also enjoy boating in the Phewa Lake and visit Island temple. Overnight.

Day 11: Scenic drive to Chitwan National Park & explore Tharu village
5 hrs drive

Today after breakfast you will drive towards Chitwan - the oldest national park named Chitwan national park which is listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. After a brief rest, you will walk through the village of the Tharu people, one of the famous indigenous groups in Nepal.

Explore their unique culture and a small hike in the village and later back to the hotel to see the Tharu dance program, which is a collection of many different dances that are performed by Tharu in different festivals.

Day 12: Full-day jungle activities
1 Hour

Today in the early hours morning you will be riding elephants through the dense jungles and witness different wildlife as well as rare animals like One horn Rhino, Royal Bengal tigers,one-horned rhino,  species of deer.

After enjoying a ride, you will get down and have your breakfast and then will be visiting the elephant’s staples where you can find plenty of elephants and here you can enjoy taking a bath of elephants.

After that, you will take a drive to the jungles by safari jeep and then will stop at Rapti River and enjoy a canoe ride and during your canoeing, you will observe aquatic animals like dolphins, crocodiles, Gharials, and some aquatic birds. You can also enjoy a nature walk and observe diverse flora and fauna.

Night Halt in Chitwan.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu
5-6 hrs drive

After grabbing your delicious breakfast, you will return back to Kathmandu by enjoying the scenic drive. On the way, you will also visit C.G temple and museum. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you are free to visit Thamel and the local market.

Day 14: Scenic drive to Syabru Besi (1600m)
7-8 hrs drive

After breakfast, you will have a scenic and amazing off-road drive to Syabru Besi for overnight stay by enjoying the amazing views of rivers, hills, mountains and smiling local people.

Syabru Besi is the town located in the northern part of Nepal in the Langtang region which is 20 km far from the Nepal-China border.

In free time you can explore around and interact with local people of that area.

Day 15: Drive to Tingri (4050m) via Kayrong
1 Hour

After breakfast, you will continue your drive to the border area, complete the immigration procedure and enters Tibet. Himalayan Trekkers representative on that side will be there to welcome and assist you.

Further drives to Tingri for overnight stay.

(Note: You can also spend one more night at Kayrong to get proper acclimatization).

Day 16: Drive to Sakya (4100m) via Everest Base Camp (northern side)
1 Hour

Today after breakfast, you will move towards Sakya through driving. The drive is exploratory and scenic while you are on the way to Rongbuk. You will explore Rongbuk Monastery at Rongbuk, which is taken as the elevated monastery of Tibet.

After that, you will be driven to the Everest Base Camp (EBC)(5250m). You can also observe the superb views of the different mountains like Sishapangma (8,013m), Cho Oyu (8,201m) and the impressive and almighty Everest also renowned as Chomolungma Mountain. It will be your lifetime experience to have face to face with the highest peak in the world as well as the earth. You will complete about a 17 km round excursion of the Everest Base Camp. The base camp is shrunken and unproductive rather the scenery of Everest is mouth-watering.

Overnight stay at Sakya.

Day 17: Drive to Shigatse (3900m)
1 Hour

Today you will explore the Monastery called Sakya, which is also the ancient temple of the Sakyapa section of Tibetan Buddhism.

After that, you will enjoy a drive to Shigatse which is the second major town of Tibet. In Shigste you can see the renowned monastery called Tashilhunpo. It was discovered by the first Dalai Lama known as Gendun Drup in 1447. It is equally important from both prospectuses either culturally or historically.

Overnight stay at Shigatse.

Day 18: Drive to Lhasa (3660m) via Gyantse
1 Hour

After breakfast, you will continue your drive to Lhasa via Gyantse.

On the way, you will explore the amazing glacial lakes named Yamdork lake, Manak Dam Lake and Perklor Monastery, Kumbum stupa and amazing mountains too.

After reaching Lhasa, you will explore the market and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 19: Full day Lhasa Tour
1 Hour

After breakfast, you will visit the Potala Palace, the Palace of the Dalai Lama. This architectural masterpiece is the symbol of unity of the Tibetans. This palace was built by King Soongtsan Gampo, who was married to Princess Wen Cheng Tang in 641 A.D. It has got 999 houses built on Hongshan Hill with a red building on top. It is one of the grandest palaces in the world to date.

After lunch, you will be driven towards the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple for Tibetan Buddhists. After spending some time at the Jokhang temple you will walk through Barkhor Street, a traditional old street in Lhasa.

Day 20: Lhasa sightseeing day 2
1 Hour

You will start the sightseeing today from Norbulingka - the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, located along the Kyichu River and two kilometers west of the Potala Palace. This Palace has a huge garden covering 360,000 square meters, making it the biggest man-made garden in Tibet. It has got 374 rooms.

The second site is Drepung Monastery, made by Chojey Tashi Palden in the 14th Century. It had four departments, of which Loseling, or "The Hermitage of the Radiant Mind," was the largest, housing more than three-quarters of Drepung's ten to fifteen thousand monks. Now it is one of Tibet’s premier monastic educational institutions.

Then, you will also explore another amazing Sera monastery.

Return back to the hotel for a night halt.

Although all places during your trek do not have all modern facilities (especially at higher altitudes), we ensure that it is arranged safely and comfortably. Mostly hygienic and safe tea houses / local lodges/homestays are arranged & please feel free to personalize according to your preference.

If your travel schedule includes camping or if you choose to experience it, a correct campsite will be determined in advance and everything will be taken care of. Meals

Breakfast is usually included with your accommodation within the costs. Meals in the city must be paid separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place.

Remote areas don't have that many options, but hygienic and well-prepared food is always served. Moreover, most meals are included in the costs during your trek. We can help you make changes according to your preference and budget, but only if choices are available!
